Sounds good or is this just a ploy to gain info. & fame on his Ball collection.I wonder how long it will take before the Ball collection shows up on Eb@y.
Any info I can gain is great but if the guy is a reseller why bother with ball topic area Sounds fishy to me. But I'm skeptical at best in most cases.I have no room to talk but at least it's interesting at best..
Just my 2 cents worth

Hi, yes, you are correct--this is self promotion at its best. Jeff does a good job of selling--see the number of hleabay sales?

He likes research but really wants to sell everything and these MBs are another tool to tout!

I am for a Ball topic area.

We should have had one anyway.

Maybe because Jeff is an authorized Ball reseller it helps him tout, but to each his own!

Either that or just "Balls"?

Besides, where would we all be without traders? Let's not be so quick to cast stones or whatever.

Hi Mo
I'm not casting any stones it is a VERY nice collection indeed. It's just that this appears to be a marketing ploy to get the prices up on the items. I'm almost sure some of it will be auctioned off which is good. However most of these auctions items sell for more than what they are worth IMHO. I mean you can rationalize anything Say if an item is worth 5K well some figure well it must be worth 7K or 9K and on and on it just depends on how DEEP are your pockets. I'm positive most of the items will fetch a high price with some hype. When these type items have the so Called "provenance" it sure will add to the cost which I could care less about who owned an item before me. It was Nice to View the items on some of the message boards ..But reading some of the now owners posts there are many catch words that add to the hype museum and words like that.. I would like to own one of the watches but I'm not sure I would pay the price though. I hate auctions most of the time they are a waste of time in my book I would rather deal with a seller who just shoots me a fair price for an item and move on to the next item..
Cheers
Joseph
