All DH&D came with plain dials, originally; however, I have seen a few that were switched!

Jon really does take care of his people! Wow! What a beauty!
All original, superb condition, not mucked around with or switched
It just doesn't get any better. I'm sure this watch has found a good
home in the hands of a collector who honors and respects originality and
historic integrity. These watches are living history and should be preserved!
Congrats and enjoy!!!

I moved this thread because it is now more about the Watch and the Boston Watch Company than the sale. Now it is able to be seen by the World not just members of Web Horology.

Dennison, Howard and Davis watches continue to come out on eBay; however, 99% are recased or SWITCHED by the dealers and collectors pro porting to be researchers.

Still, this movement remains a cornerstone of American horology.
